Auckland, New Zealand Welcomes New Citizens, Indians Top Recent Batch

The data also reflected that among all of the newest citizens of New Zealand who are in Auckland, those who have come from India are on top of the list in terms of total who have been awarded citizenship. This means that there are definitely a lot of Indians in New Zealand and they have done their best to be able to make it as citizens of the country.

The data has also shown that there were around 18,543 individuals who have been given citizenship by the country and are now living in Auckland. Those from India are at the top of the list with 2,885 of them making it. Following the Indians are the Samoans with 2,033 individuals being granted citizenship. 1,910 Fijis and 1,669 Britons got their New Zealand citizenships as well.

Based on the data from the Department of Internal Affairs, starting on the 1st of November in 2017 right up until the 31st of October of 2018, which is basically a whole year, Auckland had been able to welcome a total of 36,084 new individuals who have become the newest citizens of the country. This is just for Auckland. The number for the entire country has yet to be disclosed as they are still not yet available. The national numbers may be ready for everybody by the middle of January at the very least.
