Processing Of Applications For Immigration To Canada Hit New Record

Sean Fraser, the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Minister of Canada, was proud to share the progress that the IRCC has made this year. The plans that the IRCC had put into action definitely reduced the backlogs of applications from potential immigrants.

 

Breaking records

 

The IRCC has been proud to note that since August of this year, the inventory of the agency has already been reduced by almost 500,000 applications. That is definitely a big thing, given just how many applications are coming in each day. It is also great to know that the IRCC is ensuring that the bar is set even higher so that processing is done better and faster, reducing the waiting time for all potential immigrants to Canada. Since the end of November, the IRCC has processed around 4.8 million already, which is almost twice the amount that had been processed in the same period a year ago.
