More People Are Interested To Become Immigrants In Canada, Poll Says

The poll was done in 2021 and the results had shown that around 900 million people are more than willing to move to a new country and live there permanently should they be given an opportunity. This is the highest number that has been recorded so far since this study has first been done back in 2011. Data from the study had also shown that there has been an increase in people who would like to move permanently to a new country. In 2011, it was only 12%. 10 years later, it jumped to 16%.

 

The data also showed that the pandemic did not really help in lowering people’s wish to become immigrants. In fact, it seems to have helped it grow. The policies that Canada had during the pandemic and how it has been quickly able to adapt had definitely helped more people decide that this country is where they would like to move to.
