Canada Temporary Residence Available For Immigration Ban Casualties

There may be some turmoil in the United States right now because of the immigration ban that the country’s government. This ban has been for seven countries that are mostly Muslim in religion and beliefs.

However, there is a bright ray of hope that is shining for those who may have been casualties of this ban. The neighboring country, Canada, is now offering temporary residence for any who may have been affected by the ban. That way, they would have some place to call home for the meantime.

How people were affected

Ahmen Hussen is the Minister of Immigration for Canada. In a conference that he had been a part of, he declared that he actually do not have the real numbers when it comes to the people who are eligible for the temporary residency offer. However, he was able to share that the number of people who were trying to get to the United States from the country were only small. These were the people who were supposed to fly and they were not been able to board the plane because they were denied such. Again, those who were affected by this were only a small amount.

The orders from the United States government actually camp too fast. There was no kind of warming. And so a lot of people were really unsure about where they stood and if they would be able to push through with their trips to the United States or not.

The positive light from Canada

Hussen continued to state in the news conference that he is assuring everyone that the individuals who may have become stranded in their country because of the ban will be given temporary residence. He says that he will be using his authority that he has as part of his position in the government to be able to do this. After all, he claims, this is something that the country has been able to do previously. It is just right to continue to help out those who are in need.

Instead of sending out criticisms to the United States government because of the ban, the Canadian government under the helm of Justin Trudeau, the country’s Prime Minister under the Liberal Party, is not saying anything. What the country is doing instead is to actually open up their country to all of the refugees that have been affected.

The private sector speaks

The Canadian private sector also is speaking its thoughts when it comes to this issue. There are over 200 technological companies in the country and the owners and the heads behind these companies are saying that the country be open for those who have been affected. It should be able to help out all of those individuals who need the help.
