Canadian Premier Minister Welcomes Those Finding Refuge On Twitter

During recent troublesome events, there seems to be a beacon of hope that is shining through the chaos. This beacon of hope comes in the form of Justin Trudeau. Trudeau is the current Prime Minister of Canada.

With Twitter as his chosen avenue to spread the light, he has been able to get his message across and get that light of hope burning and shining to all those who needed reminders and to all those who needed that wee bit sliver of hope.

Taking his message to Twitter

Twitter is one of the most popular social media sites at present. People can simply create accounts there and post their thoughts. Unlike Facebook, this one is less messy and quite simple as it only allows you to post a limited amount of characters. So your message must be short, sweet, and precise.

This was PM Trudeau’s choice of sending his message across. And in his message, he has declared that his home country, Canada, is open and is welcoming just about anybody and it does not matter what your faith may be. In his Twitter post, he has also said that any refugees who may be affected by the travel ban in the US for all those individuals from Muslim countries can find refuge in Canada.

Spreading hope to those who were affected

In his Twit, Trudeau had mentioned that Canada and all Canadians will welcome anybody who may be fleeing their current country for various reasons which may include terror, war, and even persecution. He says that Canada and its residents are open to refugees and even immigrants and it does not matter what your faith may be.

He shared this message when there were a huge number of individuals in the United States who were detained all across the country in the airports. This was because of a ban that new US President Trump ordered. In this order, he named seven countries that are majorly Muslim in faith and those who came from such countries were banned from entering the country.

Those who were stranded had help from those who believed that the whole ban was a sham. There were even lawyer activists who helped them get into the country. And with Trudeau’s message on Twitter, those who were detained and did not know where to go had a glimmer of hope and that glimmer was Canada.

Canada is open for immigration and that is not a secret. Plenty of individuals have found home in this country. They do have their requirements but they will not disapprove of your application to be a resident of the country just because of race or faith. In fact, this country is one of the top countries when it comes to immigration and known for being open and not discriminatory.
