A report released recently has shown that almost half of small businesses in Canada are saying that they are having trouble with finding the right people to do the jobs that need to be done. As per the report, there are around 47% of small businesses that are really feeling the grunt of the situation. The business owners are looking for skilled individuals and the locals just are not able to provide such. Therefore, they are now looking at immigrant workers who bear the needed skills that their businesses need.

According to previous reports that have been done by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (which is also known as the CFIB), the number for the October 2018 report is actually 10% higher as compared to the numbers for January of this year. And it is also 20% higher as compared to the numbers for a report done in January of 2016. This definitely reflects that more and more immigrant workers are needed in the country and the government has to be done something about this by this time to avoid any big issues that could arise later on because of the lack of the skilled individuals.
