The top country as per the search data was Canada – meaning, more and more people became interested in moving to this country as compared to any other country in the world. The data was based on a study that looked at the number of searches done with the phrases that were related to moving to a new country and becoming an immigrant. There were over 100 countries included in the study.

 

Canada was on top of the list as per the data from the study. Those who had done searches on moving to the country and being an immigrant there came from a total of 29 countries. Next to Canada was Japan, with the searches coming from 13 countries. In the third spot is Spain and was closely followed by Germany and Qatar. Australia came in the eighth spot with the United States in the ninth.

 

The reasons for choosing Canada

 

There are tons of reasons why people have been searching about moving to Canada and becoming immigrants in this country. One of the main reasons is that the country has low rates of unemployment which means that those who move there are able to find jobs faster as compared to other countries since the competition would be a lot less. The country also has universal healthcare that is free which is a really good thing given that getting medical help can be quite costly in many countries. Canada is also known as one of the countries in the world which is very peaceful as per the results of studies done by the Global Peace Index.
