Employers can recruit these individuals that they need for certain occupations that are in demand to help out with their business operations. This would allow employers to have the needed workers to keep businesses running and even improve their operations.

 

According to the announcement, the pilot immigration program would include even entry-level positions which may even require the immigrant to have on-the-job training. The announcement further disclosed that Saskatchewan has been dealing with more demands for people in the labor market but there are shortages. The industries in the province that have a huge demand for such include manufacturing, ag-tech, hospitality, retail, construction, agriculture, and health.

Jeremy Harrison is the minister for Immigration and Career Training and in a release to the media, he said that there is a strong demand for labor in Saskatchewan and he believes that this demand will continue to become stronger soon enough as there is a significant amount of economic projects that will be happening in this province in Canada. With the pilot program that was developed to help the province, Harrison strongly believes that it would help with the demands. Employers in the province are also delighted with this pilot program.
