Lords Warn UK Not Prepared For Immigration Cap

The lords of Britain are seemingly not happy about the immigration cap that the United Kingdom government is pushing for. The committee has also disclosed that companies and businesses all across the United Kingdom are also not prepared for what could happen in case the limit to immigration becomes reality. On the issue, he stated that the UK government should have statistics that are reliable especially when it comes to immigration in the country. With reliable numbers, the government can then create and put together a policy that would be based on those numbers. If not, the policies that they would be making would not be guided well.

This is an important aspect of making decisions and policies for the country as businesses would be affected that much, thus the economy may have to suffer as well. The point for the committee is that the country still must have a good definition of a migrant as it helps shape the numbers into better stories that can help guide the creation of good policies.
