The office now has 130 total staff helping out and doing important work. This is part of the restructuring that the agency has been doing. The Mumbai office has not been doing well before it was closed down with 12,000 applications still in the backlog. However, the changes have lessened that number to less than 8,000 which is definitely a good improvement in a short span of time.
