The majority of Canadians who joined the poll claimed that they believe that immigration brings a positive impact to the country, most especially when it comes to the economy.

 

The study had 1,012 total participants. 52% of them had disclosed that they believe that the increase in the annual target for immigration of Canada brings a positive effect to the country. Only 38% said that immigration brings a negative impact. The annual target for immigration in the country for 2025 is 500,000 new immigrants and permanent residents. The target for this year and the next is lower but only by a small amount.
